Organized by the Deutsche Hochdruckliga e.V. DHL® – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hypertonie und Prävention, Heidelberg, in cooperation with the German Institute for High Blood Pressure Research (DIB), Berlin.
This symposium, held on the occasion of the 37. Scientific Congress of the Deutsche Hochdruckliga e.V. DHL® in Münster, Germany, commemorates the 100th birthday of Franz Gross, co-founder of the DHL® and pioneer of hypertension research. It is open for anyone and free of charge.
The various scientific presentations are mostly held by friends, colleagues and disciples of Franz Gross. They will provide an overview on the decisive early days of hypertension research in particular with respect to the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone system, the domain of Franz Gross‘ research activities, but will also cover current RAAS- and non RAAS-related hypertension and cardiovascular research including latest developments.
